Every Monday and Thursday, I visit the Mountain Hearts fitness center to go through my water therapy — which I credit for still being able to walk — albeit with a walker, even in the house.
In order to get there, I rely on the generosity of my two good friends from Sunday School, Phil Wylie and Kent Marsten. It’s wonderful of them to take the time to transport me, rain, shine, or snow.
And, then, my incomparable wife, Linda, shows up after a long day working in the counselors office at the local high school. She gets in the water with me and leads me through a 40-minute workout.
Today I salute caregivers and friends of the disabled worldwide. We couldn’t survive without you, and there’s a special place in Heaven waiting just for you. 😀
